Kayla is the Social Media Coordinator for Mission Community. She enjoys creatively photographing the spirit of the church, designing for the staff's needs, and working to build communication systems so that the hope of the gospel can be heard.

Growing up in a Christian home, she attended church throughout her life and began a relationship with Jesus around age six after hearing a Sunday School lesson about Easter. In her professional life, Kayla is a nurse who graduated from a program in Downingtown and began immediately working for a local faith-based clinic as their Medical Coordinator/Nurse Manager for 6 years. She took a break from nursing to pursue caring for her son and during that time the Lord opened a door to serve her church as a creative.

Kayla began dating her now husband, Zach, back in 2015 and they were married a few years later by Pastor Jason. The Speakers enjoy spending time together in nature, making trips down to Ocean City, MD, and finding good food locally. They are incredibly thankful that the Lord led them to Mission Community and for the friendships they have found there.
